I chose a career in tax because I genuinely enjoy helping people feel more confident and secure about their financial lives. Over the past 20 years, I’ve built my career around supporting individuals and business owners through both the everyday demands of compliance and the more complex decisions that shape their future. I spent more than 15+ years at PwC in the Private Client Services group, working closely with high-net-worth individuals, their closely held businesses, trusts and partnerships. I had the opportunity to support executives and entrepreneurs through complicated tax matters, but what mattered most to me was building trusted, long-term relationships.
Beyond my professional work, one of the most meaningful parts of my career has been running a free tax site in the Bayview neighborhood of San Francisco for the past 20 years. Giving back to the community and helping families who might otherwise go without support has been incredibly grounding and rewarding. It reminds me why I chose this profession in the first place.
I started my own practice so I could provide personalized, proactive, and attentive service to the people and businesses I work with. My goal is for clients to feel supported year-round, not just during filing season, and to know they have a trusted advisor who truly cares about their success and peace of mind.
